Truesdell & Associates, LLC is a boutique cultural, organizational, and executive strategic firm committed to helping our clients navigate times of transition(s) by centering their humanity. Led by socio-cultural anthropologist, Dr. Nicole Truesdell, we work with clients to help them understand and align THEIR reality with their priorities, which helps in reassessing time and whose timing is being privileged, and then strategizing and dreaming of new ways forward from the clients perspective (humanity) instead of centering the institution’s inhumane lens. This is what Dr. Truesdell calls “strategic dreaming” because we must envision and dream of the futures we want in the present, and then ground ourselves in our realities so that we BELIEVE our experiences and strategically dream what comes next from that place of knowing.

Or in other words, if we believe that we live in systems and structures within the modern nation-state whose foundations are based in a plantation economy that never left, then we must believe we are still operating within a plantation politic system and strategize from that knowing.

This allows for clients to allow themselves the ability to lead WITH their humanity, instead of suppressing it.
